We stayed here because it honors Passport America and we only paid $16/night. The 152 FHU sites is misleading as most of the sites are occupied by long term residents and the rest of the park consists of park models or sticks & bricks houses. The park is older and many of the long term occupants do not maintain their homes. The term "resort" is false. While the site we had is long enough for our 36' 5th wheel, it is narrow and we had a tough time getting in it due to the houses across the street. We'd stay here again if necessary, but only because of the PA discount.

Very easy to get to; just off of I-70. Staff was very friendly even though we didn't have a reservation. We were given a pull-through and didn't have to level the rig at all. While we were at the front of the campground, nearest the highway, traffic noise didn't bother us. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very family-friendly park. The only drawback is that most of the RV sites are taken by seasonal users. There are few "transient" sites. Be sure to call ahead if you want to stay here. This is our second summer here and we consider it our summer "home." The owners are very personable and hands-on. It is a second generation, family-owned campground, with the third generation learning the ropes. There are activities every weekend.

The rate given is the Passport America rate which is good for 2 nights. That's primarily why we chose to stay here. It is easy to get to and to drive through. Our pull-through was just long enough for our 36' 5er with our F550 truck parked beside it. The sites are fairly close together, but alternate the way the RVs face. We would come back.

The rate given is the Passport America park and the primary reason we chose this park. It seems to be an older park with some needed TLC. This could be due to the terrain, however, which is very sandy. The roads are not paved and not well-maintained, many ruts throughout. Although the price is right, there are other parks in the area we would try before coming back here.

This is our favorite Escapees park. The sites are huge! And almost every site has a shade tree, which is great, but doesn't interfere with satellite reception. The current winter staff will be returning for the 2009 winter season and they are fantastic. This is our winter "home."
